Since repair, reset, and terminate were already tried, use the remaining supported checks in this order:
- Reset the Microsoft Store cache
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
wsreset.exeand select OK. - A blank Command Prompt window should appear for about 10 seconds, then close automatically, and Microsoft Store should open by itself.
- Try signing in again.
- Make sure Windows 11 is fully updated
- Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
- Install any available updates, then restart the PC.
- This matters because Microsoft notes that after Windows updates, a restart may be required before Store apps install correctly.
- Update Microsoft Store itself
- Open Microsoft Store.
- Select Library > Get updates.
- If a Store update is available, let it install, then try signing in again.
- Confirm the Store app is actually present and searchable
- In the taskbar search box, type Microsoft Store.
- If it appears, open it and optionally Pin to Start or Pin to taskbar.
- If it does not appear in search, Microsoft’s guidance is:
- make sure the device is signed in with a Microsoft account rather than only a local account
- if it is a managed/work device, check whether an administrator disabled Microsoft Store
- Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
- Check common reasons Bedrock may not install even after sign-in is fixed
- The app may be hidden if it is not available in the current country or region.
- Family settings can hide apps.
- The app may be incompatible with the device.
- The PC may need to be authorized for Microsoft Store apps, which requires signing in with the Microsoft account.
- If Microsoft Store still cannot be found or still fails to sign in
- Use Contact Support from Microsoft support for technical help.
