I continue to receive this error code: AADSTS500200 when trying to sign into Onenote on my ipad. I previously had a school account, created a personal account, and signed out of my school account. My computer and phone are fine but for some reason this error keeps happening on my ipad. How do I fix this?

The AADSTS500200 error usually comes from a personal Microsoft account being directed to a sign-in for work or school accounts. Your iPad may still have login credentials associated with your school account.

Try the following :

Sign out of the OneNote app
Go to the iPad settings, find your apps, and clear all cache data for the OneNote app
Re-attempt OneNote login
If that fails, log out of all Microsoft apps, go to iPad settings, find your apps, and reset the OneNote app, making sure to delete all login credentials
If you no longer use the school account, go to settings and remove it from your iPad*
Re-attempt OneNote login
Consider reinstalling the OneNote app and restarting your iPad

*Good housekeeping is important. Remove all old accounts from all devices, and remove all old devices from user profiles.

Try this:

Open OneNote and sign out of every account listed.
Close OneNote completely.
Go to iPad Settings and check for any Microsoft/Office account entries or management profiles associated with the old school account. If the school installed a management profile and you no longer need it, remove it.
Delete OneNote from the iPad.
Restart the iPad.
Reinstall OneNote from the App Store.
Open OneNote and sign in specifically with the personal Microsoft account.

Also, when Microsoft asks whether this is a “Personal account” or “Work or school account,” make sure you select Personal.
