when creating a document using copilot, it began running really slow and ended up not responding. i saved the document that i was creating and rebooted the computer thinking that copilot may have filled up the memory capacity. the cursor was slow to respond to movement in the document as well.

Are long and short documents equally slow? Are only documents created with Copilot slow?

Are you able to fix the problem if you copy the content, minus the final paragraph mark of the document, into a new, blank document?

    Hi, let me help you.

If Word is up to date, try disabling hardware graphics acceleration.

In Word, go to File > Options > Advanced, then scroll down to the Display section and check the box that says "Disable hardware graphics acceleration." Click OK, then close and reopen Word for it to take effect.
