You might be able to fix this by creating a new temporary adult account, adding your restricted work account to that new family group, correcting your birth date, and then removing yourself from the group.
Because Microsoft treats a child-flagged account as locked, you cannot change the birth date or leave the group from inside the restricted profile itself.
To start, create a new adult Microsoft account using a private or incognito browser window. Make sure the new account has a birth date indicating that the account holder is over 18.
Sign in to Microsoft Family Safety using the new adult account. Select Add a family member, choose Member (or Child), and enter the email address of the locked work account.
Check the email inbox for the locked work account, open the family invitation, and accept it to join the new family group.
Return to Microsoft Family Safety while signed in with the new adult account. Find the work account in the family members list, select Manage consent or the three-dot options next to the account, and select Edit this child's personal info. Change the birth date to the user's actual adult date of birth and save the change.
Once the account's age has been corrected to indicate an adult, return to the family members list. Select the three-dot options next to the work account and choose Remove from family group, Remove consent, or the equivalent option available in the interface.
