A Microsoft app for iOS and Android devices that enables authentication with two-factor verification, phone sign-in, and code generation
Hi @Ivana Ndangam ,
If you've replaced your phone and no longer have access to the old device, the next steps depend on whether you have any alternative sign-in methods configured.
- Try selecting "I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now" or "Sign in another way" on the sign-in page.
- If you have a phone number, email, security key, passkey, or backup authentication method registered, use that option instead.
- If you're signing into a work or school account and no alternative methods are available, contact your organization's IT administrator. They can reset your MFA methods and require you to register Microsoft Authenticator on your new phone.
- If you are the only administrator for the account and are completely locked out, you'll need to contact Microsoft Support https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/support/for assistance with account recovery and tenant access verification.
Once access is restored, register the new phone in Security Info and, if possible, add at least one backup authentication method to prevent future lockouts.
