Just got a new Macbook Pro M5? New to the apple world. Anyways, i have the outlook installed and used it all the time on my Dell. When i open my email the bookmarks at the top of outlook are not the same as it was with my old computer. I don't have a little wheel icon in top right corner to make settings corrections and no help button. i think it used to be a ? mark. I have an old employee that recently quit and her picture is still on her email even though everything has been corrected. Typically you have to log out and back on for it to take place. Which would be fine if i could figure out how to log out which is why i needed the ? to ask lol.

    Good day Angela S,

Outlook for Mac looks different from the Windows version, so not seeing the same gear and question-mark icons is normal.

As shown in the attached image below, the Help menu appears in the menu bar at the very top of the screen. From there, you can select Outlook Help or Contact Support.

    User's image

For settings, select Outlook in the upper-left corner beside the Apple logo, then select Settings. If the Mac uses an older version of Outlook, this option may be called Preferences instead.

To sign out, select Tools > Accounts, choose your email account, then select Manage > Remove Account > Continue. Restart Outlook and add the account again. This removes the account from the app, but it does not delete emails stored in Microsoft 365.

Also make sure Outlook is fully updated through Help > Check for Updates.

If the interface appears different on your side, please confirm whether you are using a personal email account, such as Outlook.com, Gmail, or iCloud, or a work or school Microsoft 365 account managed by your organization. Also, please let us know your Outlook version by selecting Outlook > About Outlook from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
