Microsoft Ignite is an annual conference/learning event rather than a standalone training product, so there isn’t a separate “Ignite training license” that you purchase per student.
The cost depends on what you mean by training:
- Microsoft Ignite conference/content: Ignite has free digital sessions and learning content. In-person conference attendance is separately priced.
- Microsoft Learn: Most Copilot and Azure AI learning paths are free. This is the lowest-cost option for self-paced training.
- Instructor-led Microsoft training: Microsoft and Microsoft Learning Partners offer paid courses. Pricing varies by course, delivery method, and partner.
- Microsoft Copilot licenses: Training employees on Copilot is separate from licensing Copilot itself. For example, Microsoft 365 Copilot requires an eligible Microsoft 365 license plus the Copilot license. You would need these licenses if you want employees to perform hands-on training using the actual Copilot capabilities in their tenant.
- Microsoft Copilot Studio: If the training includes building agents, Copilot Studio has its own licensing/consumption model, separate from Microsoft Learn or Ignite content.
- Enterprise/custom training: A Microsoft Learning Partner or training company can provide private Copilot workshops for a fixed per-session, per-day, or per-student price.
