    Hello Michael Mino,

Whether you can switch to the correct account depends on whether the Office product key has already been redeemed.

If the key has not been redeemed yet, sign out of the incorrect account, go to Microsoft Office setup, and sign in with the account you want to use before redeeming the key. Please verify the email address carefully before completing the process. You can confirm which account currently owns Office by checking Services & subscriptions.

If the key has already been redeemed, the license is linked to the Microsoft account used during redemption. In that case, please contact Microsoft Support and ask whether they can help correct the account association. Have the purchase receipt, product key, and both email addresses ready.

Since this is a user-to-user forum, we can only share suggestions based on our findings and personal experiences. We cannot access your account or make changes to the license from here.

Here's how to reach out to the Microsoft Support Team (live chat):

    1.  Go to: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    2. In the search box, enter a short description of your issue, then choose "Get Help"
    3. Scroll down and select Sign in to contact support (please sign in using a personal Microsoft account). Then follow the on-screen prompts to reach Support Team.

    Tips:

    • Support chat availability may vary by country/region, product, and support hours. If you can't get in touch with a chat agent right away, trying again later or at a different time may help.
    • If the support page directs you to the automated assistant, type “I need a live agent” in the chat.

Hopefully your issue will be sorted out soon Thank you so much for your patience!

You can move a perpetual (one-time purchase) license to a different computer. Moving to a different user or account is more complex, though. It can be done in certain geographic regions. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-activation-licensing/transfer-your-office-license-to-another-device-or-another-person .
