If access to the old company account is already lost, the certification cannot be manually transferred by support to a different Learn profile.
Supported options:
- Try signing in to Microsoft Learn with any other login account that may already be associated with the certification profile, including a personal Microsoft account or another work or school account previously used during exam registration.
- If the old profile is still accessible through at least one valid login account, sign in to that profile and add the personal account under Account Management. If that added account is associated with another Learn profile, it triggers a profile merge.
- If the old profile is accessible, use Credentials in the Learn profile to verify the certification is present, and use Transcript to review completion history.
- If credentials are missing after signing in with the expected account, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for additional assistance with missing credentials.
Important limits and constraints:
- Access to a Learn profile requires sign-in with at least one valid Microsoft Learn login account.
- If access to the personal Microsoft account used for the profile is lost and no alternate account was added, access to the profile and its data is lost.
- Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover personal Microsoft accounts and cannot transfer or restore the contents of a Learn profile that cannot be accessed.
- Learn profiles can be merged only by adding a login account from one profile to another; merging cannot be undone.
- Personal Microsoft accounts and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts cannot be merged as accounts, though they can be used side by side.
