Hello,

This morning I've got email from you that there was an unusal activity on my account from USA, and I am wondering if it is a successful login or not. I clicked this wasnt me but then it sends me to the other link saying that this site is temporarily unavailable.

I will provide screenshots.

Thank you!IMG_0336

The screenshots show Unusual activity detected, not a confirmed successful sign-in.

    From the Recent activity page:

    • If an entry is in Unusual activity, Microsoft needs a response from the account owner.
    • The page shows This was me and This wasn't me only for unusual activity entries.
    • A successful sign-in would appear as sign-in activity on the Recent activity page, which shows account use from the last 30 days.

    What to do now:

    1. Open the Recent activity page directly and review that entry again.
    2. If the activity was not recognized, select This wasn't me.
    3. Then go to Security basics and change the password immediately.
    4. On the security settings page, update security settings and remove trusted devices if concerned that someone accessed the account.
    5. If the page that opens after This wasn't me is temporarily unavailable, wait and try again later, then repeat the report and password change steps.
    6. If sign-in stops working, use Forgot my password and select I think someone else is using my Microsoft account during recovery.

    Additional checks:

    • If the email is suspected to be fake, Microsoft recommends signing in to the Microsoft account directly rather than using links in the email.
    • A legitimate unusual activity email can come from the Microsoft account team sender shown in Microsoft support content.

    Hi,

The screenshot alone does not confirm whether someone completed that check and gained access. Check the recent sign-in activity:

If there is no successful sign-in, your account is secure and the attempt to access your account is unsuccessful. However, secure your account as soon as possible.

Change your Microsoft account password to a strong, unique password. In Advanced security options, select Sign out everywhere.

Make sure Two-step verification is turned on and set up Microsoft Authenticator if you have not already done so, and check that your recovery information belongs to you.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
