Kin Canada has asked that we get our own Teams account and I am not sure how to do that as we were rejected. I know other clubs have been successful in doing this. What do I need to do to make this happen. We are a club under the umbrella of Kin Canada.

    Hi,

If your request for a Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 organization account was rejected, the key question is why the application was rejected.

In general, Microsoft only provides nonprofit Microsoft 365 tenants to organizations that can be validated as eligible nonprofits. Eligible organizations typically need their own recognized legal nonprofit status and go through Microsoft's nonprofit validation process.

    You may want to check:

    • Did your club apply for a new Microsoft 365 tenant or for Microsoft Nonprofit eligibility?
    • What was the exact rejection message?
    • Is your club a separately registered nonprofit/charity, or does it operate entirely under another organization's legal entity?

If your club is not a separate legal organization, Microsoft may require the Microsoft 365 tenant and nonprofit benefits to be managed under the parent organization rather than by an individual club. Eligibility is based on the legal organization being validated For reference: Registration and Validation - Microsoft for Nonprofits | Microsoft Learn
