I cannot play valorant anymore after new update keep getting this error.
when I tried to enable it in bios this setting just does not exist anymore. I tried to turn of fast boot and then restarted to see if it would appear then and still has not appeared. And checking tpm.msc on windows says its not found so I dont know what changed in this update but why would you hide this option.
Hi ,

fTPM shows Code 10 and the PSP device is detected, and the fTPM option is missing in BIOS after an update.
Hi,
Did you get around to updating the laptop's BIOS?
Thanks.
yup updated bios and chipset tried all of that and did not work
Hi,
Take a screenshot of Device Manager and post it here.
Thanks.
I am about to flash my bios to update it and see if that fixes it as ftpm is built in now and cannot be changed.
Hi,
Are you going to re-flash the BIOS with an earlier version?
Have you tried uninstalling it, restarting, and checking if the TPM initializes without errors? It is possible that, if it's a physical TPM module, the module itself is defective on the motherboard.
Thanks.
I have asus laptop so its built in to be turned on I was told, and I have already tried unistalling and restarting. Flashing is the bios is the only thing I have not tried.
Hi,
Be careful; if you interrupt the flash process, your PC might not boot up anymore.
Thanks.
FA507RE, BIOS 312 and 315 both flashed via EZ Flash, defaults loaded, EC reset done. Device Manager: Trusted Platform Module 2.0 shows Code 10, Problem 0xA, Problem Status 0xC0000186 (device protocol error). No upper/lower filter drivers. AMD PSP 10.0 Device is present and healthy. Get-Tpm: TpmPresent False. The fTPM is not responding, which points to corrupted fTPM/PSP data or a motherboard fault. Please escalate to level 2 and advise on repair.
Hi,
In this case, do the following: go to Device Manager > Trusted Platform Module 2.0 > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
Take a screenshot and post it here.
Thanks.
Hi,
First, try testing both drivers to see if the system asks for a restart or if the driver starts without errors. If neither starts successfully, you can try running Valorant with VBS disabled:
2.) Go to the "Device security" tab.
3.) Click on "Core isolation details."
4.) Turn off "Memory integrity."
After restarting, open the Command Prompt (as administrator) and run this command:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Restart your PC, then open Msinfo32.exe, take a screenshot, and post it here.
Thanks.
I tried testing both but then it just says this device cannot start and code 10. I will try disabling vbs now.
Memory integrity was already turned off, but i just run the command restarted and here is the msinfo
Hi,
If possible, scroll down further in msinfo32.exe, take a screenshot, and post it here.
Thanks.
Hii,
Press the Windows key, type Turn Windows features on or off, and press Enter
Uncheck the main Hyper-V box (this clears Hyper-V Platform and Management Tools).
Uncheck Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform if they are present.
Restart the PC and then take a screenshot of the bottom of msinfo32.exe again and post it here.
Thanks
All of those already are checked off
Hi,
Okay, the idea is that if you encounter error VAN9005 or when the game starts, you should restart your PC and test it again.
Thanks.
Yes i tried that already it just gives me the same error messaged after less than a minute of me playing.
The problem is why is my tpm 2.0 not starting all of a sudden
Hi,
Try disabling TPM in the BIOS and see if the error code persists; if it doesn't, it might only work on Windows 10 in Legacy mode.
However, I should mention that this appears to be a hardware failure; this procedure is intended for booting on legacy systems.
Thanks.
okay that is one of the issue there is no option to change the tpm setting in bios
Hi,
Honestly, there is a chance it could be a hardware issue—the internal TPM module might be defective. You would need to check this with Asus; take it to a service center to confirm if it really is a hardware problem. Another option is to perform a clean install of Windows 10 to see if the TPM module still shows an error.
Thanks.
Since thats the case could you help me uninstall the last update I did
it just said error when i tried to delete it because this all started after that update took place
Hi,
Open the Command Prompt (as administrator) and run the following commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. Wait for the process to complete and restart your computer.
Then, open the Command Prompt again (as administrator) and run the command: wusa /uninstall /kb:5124008 to see if it uninstalls.
Thanks.
Hi,
Start menu > Settings > System > Recovery > Fix Windows updates > reinstall now
Thanks
it said this and i just clicked on fix issues again in windows update and it said the same thing
Hi,
In this case, you will need to reinstall Windows using the USB method; your Windows installation might be corrupted, so it may not be a hardware failure.
Thanks.
is there a tutorial on doing this i have not done this before is it similar to when i flashed the system and will i lose all my files
Hi,
I can guide you through this. First, you need to back up your important files and use a USB flash drive to create a Windows installation drive.
Thanks.
what do i need to put on the flash drive and where to find it
