How can I obtain updated NAV of my mutual fund in Excel sheet whenever I open it?

    Hello Surinder Singh,

    Be careful not to mix up two different Excel features. “Refresh data when opening the file” under Connection Properties applies to an external data connection, not directly to a fund entered using Data > Stocks.

    Could you share the fund name or identifier and tell us whether Data > Stocks finds the correct fund and shows the NAV value you need? If it does, we can check the linked-data-type refresh options available in your version of Excel. If it does not, you would need a source for that fund’s NAV that Excel can import as an external connection; that connection can be set to refresh when the workbook opens.

    The net asset value of a mutual fund is calculated only once per day, by the mutual fund company, after the markets have closed for the day.
