    Hello muhammad mujakkir,

Since the error appears when you open Windows Insider Program settings, checking for updates may not address what is failing.

Could you press Win + R, type winver, and share the Windows version and OS build? Please also share a screenshot of the error on that settings page, including any text beside the code. That should help narrow down the cause before trying repairs or a reset.

Try this Windows Insider troubleshooting path first:

    1. Check the current build and Insider channel.
      • Go to Settings > System > About and note the OS build number.
      • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program and verify the registered account and channel, if that page opens.
      • If needed, run PowerShell and use:
             Get-WmiObject win32_operatingsystem | select Version

    2. Check whether the device is already on the latest Insider Preview build for its channel.
      • If already on the latest build, no newer Insider update will appear.
    3. Check known issues for the current or next build.
      • Some Insider builds have known issues that can block updates or affect Settings behavior.
    4. Confirm the device meets Insider requirements.
      • The device must be running Windows 11.
      • Windows must be activated. Check Settings > System > Activation.
    5. Manually check for updates again.
      • Go to Settings > Windows Update and select Check for updates.
      • Keep the device on and signed in during off-hours if active hours are configured.
    6. Verify diagnostic data settings.
      • Windows Insider Preview Builds require diagnostic data to be set high enough to receive preview builds.
    7. If the problem is only with the Windows Insider Program page in Settings, repair the Windows image.
      • Open Command Prompt and run:
             DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

      • This is specifically recommended when Windows Update files are damaged or missing.
    8. If the issue continues, file feedback in Feedback Hub with screenshots and logs.
    9. If the device is blocked from updates or the Settings issue continues, use recovery options.
      • Reset this PC: Settings > System > Recovery > Reset this PC > Get started.
      • Go back to the previous version of Windows 11: available for up to 10 days after installing the update, from Settings > System > Recovery.
      • Clean install using a Windows or Insider ISO if other options do not work.

Important: Reset, roll back, and clean install can affect apps, settings, or files. Back up important files before using recovery options.
