Can`t log in to Azure Portal - personal Microsoft account, no MFA prompt in Authenticator

Hello,

I cannot sign in to the Azure Portal with my personal Microsoft account. I am the sole owner and Global Administrator of this subscription and tenant, so nobody else can reset my MFA.

Signing in to my Microsoft account works (email code, Authenticator notifications arrive). However, Azure then requires a separate MFA verification via Microsoft Authenticator, and no notification or code appears in the app. My Authenticator has only one entry (the Microsoft account), with no entry for the Azure tenant. No other methods (SMS, email, password) are offered.

Please route this case to the Data Protection/Tenant Recovery team and reset the MFA registration for my account in the Azure tenant. I can verify my identity and subscription ownership.

Best regards, Wojciech Kostrzewa

Hi @Nathan Roberts (SN) thanks for escalating.

Following up - I have not been contacted by anyone from Microsoft yet and the issue is unchanged. I still cannot sign in to the Azure Portal with ******@outlook.com.

This is a tenant lockout requiring an MFA registration reset. Could this please be routed to the Data Protection team for identity verification? I can verify ownership with the account email and the payment details, and I will provide any details requested by private message.

Problem is that I have resources that I want to remove, as for today I`m paying for them, so this issue cost me. Are there any other way to create such ticket?

    Thank you.
