won't let me comment on articles no matter how benign or short it is. did I do something to irritate you guys

I have the same problem with some but not all newspaper articles. About 2 weeks ago at the same time I lost ability to comment on The Telegraph, Daily Express and GB News that I am aware of. In each case I was logged in, logged out, restarted system, logged in again, but the problem remained.
