Terrible Identity validation experience

This crap is so buggy. I'm paying $10 a month to prevent Windows SmartScreen warnings, and having a certificate profile so every update I don't need to upload it to windows defenders every time (which is pain and slow process).

My problems:

  1. I've filled in everything, which took a long time, and the Status was "In Process" for more than two weeks, refreshing the page every day and waiting for the status to change, apparaently I got an e-mail which I needed to verify that I did not see because it was in the junk mail for some reason. so now it says "Failed", I open the identity validation, and it says "Email verification failed.", I read in the docs I now have to redo the process.
  2. I redo the identity validation process, but now it says "Action Required", "Please complete your verification here", but when I click this it just says "No Access. Sorry, this link has been used already. Please return to Artifact Signing to review the status of your request.", which is an endless loop. I don't know what to do now, and I'm spending real money for a process thats very frustrating, and doesn't work.

Please fix your bugs.
Thank you,
Anton

There is a known issue with email verification today, the team is aware and actively working to fix it.

For the Failed request with Email verification failed:

    1. Create a new identity validation request.
    2. Use an email address that is not a distribution list.
    3. Make sure that address can receive links from external senders.
    4. Check Junk/Spam and confirm that firewall, security, or mail filtering policies are not blocking the message.
    5. If the verification email is missed or the link expires after seven days, the same request cannot be reused and a new request is required.

For the Action Required request where Please complete your verification here opens No Access. Sorry, this link has been used already:

    1. Make sure the email address entered in the identity validation request is the same email address used to sign in when opening the identity validation link.
    2. If the current request is stuck in this state and the link is no longer usable, delete the current identity validation request and submit a new one.
    3. If using Microsoft Authenticator and Verified ID during the flow, do the following before retrying:
      • Close all open instances of Microsoft Authenticator.
      • Update to the latest Microsoft Authenticator version.
      • Clear browser cache or try a different browser.
      • Avoid weak Wi‑Fi, VPN, or proxy.
      • Try another device if needed.

    Important:

    • Creating more requests for the same entity while one is already in progress does not help.
    • If assistance is needed with identity validation in Artifact Signing, use Azure Support or Microsoft Q&A with the artifact-signing tag.
    • If the issue is specifically in the AU10TIX identity-verification experience, contact AU10TIX Support directly.

    On billing and expectations:

    • Artifact Signing pricing is not prorated; the full SKU amount is billed after the account is created.
    • Artifact Signing does not provide instant SmartScreen trust. SmartScreen reputation builds over time as signed files accumulate sufficient download history.
