We are a software company trying to have people download our product using Microsoft Edge browser from our web server. We released a new version 7.0 of our products but it is getting an uncommon download warning. Microsoft previously scanned the Previous Version 6.0 5 of our file for us because it was under 500 megabytes and they approved it and they allowed common downloading no problem and installation no problem bypassing any smart screen warnings or errors. So our workflow has always been to after we sign and create it executable we send it to Microsoft for analysis so that they can clear it from Microsoft Smart screen. This has always worked perfectly for us.

however Our latest version 7.0 is larger than 500 megabytes so I am unable to send the file to Microsoft for comparison and analysis so they can clear it in Smartscreen. So people are getting nervous trying to download it because it's saying uncommon download be careful. So far we've been able to install it on about 75 computers throughout the world no problem However as far as downloading it people are getting uncommon download warning only on Microsoft Edge browser. Can anyone give me an idea of what I can do to send this file for analysis to Microsoft above the 500 megabyte limit? We tried sending a placeholder file which was just a small TXT file with the file download location but they did not accept that they just cleared that file instead of the executable Any ideas here? The file is signed using Microsoft Azure Artifact Signing so it is assigned executable also That is not why we are getting it it is not a publishers warning
