Azure for Students previously activated, but portal now fails with AADSTS16000 and no directories found

Hello,

I previously activated Azure for Students using my personal Microsoft account, with my NMBU university email used for academic verification. The account previously showed the $100 Azure for Students credit.

I can now no longer access Azure correctly. When I sign in to the Azure Portal with my personal Microsoft account, I receive (picture 1 below):

AADSTS16000: User account from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services'.

In Azure Portal under Directories + subscriptions, it shows No directories found.

I also tried the Azure for Students page again, but it now returns: “Unable to complete Azure for Students verification.”

I tried using an Incognito/InPrivate browser and signing out and back in, but the issue remains.

I am also unable to create a normal Azure support request because the Azure Support Portal itself gives the same AADSTS16000 / Microsoft Services tenant error.

Could a Microsoft moderator please check whether my existing Azure for Students subscription/directory was provisioned or linked incorrectly to my personal Microsoft account, and help escalate this if necessary?

I can provide the Trace ID, Correlation ID, timestamps, and screenshots privately if required.
