How do I install my valid Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 subscription on another device?

It is currently installed on another device.

When trying to install on new device, the subscription is showing, the program downloads, but I receive an error when trying to install.

    Hi @Matt Jones

Office Home and Student 2013 is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. Before transferring it, uninstall it from the original computer if the license terms allow the move.

Since the download succeeds but installation fails, please first remove any Microsoft 365 trial or other Office installation from the new computer, restart it, and reinstall Office from Services & subscriptions.

Please provide the exact installation error code or message, your Windows version, and whether this Office copy was bought separately or supplied with the old computer. These details will determine whether this is an installation conflict or a licensing issue.

Also, Office 2013 reached end of support on April 11, 2023 and no longer receives security updates.

Thank you for your time and please feel free to give me an update

As Ian pointed out, Office 2013 is a one-time payment version, not a subscription.

When trying to install, which is the exact product name you see? Note that Office 2013 may require that you install from the original installation disc and provide a product key.
