    Hi Adri van Mourik,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

In many cases, support for printers and scanners on Windows devices with ARM-based processors depends on the availability of compatible drivers from the hardware manufacturer. Some older or model-specific printer and scanner drivers may not yet have native ARM support, which can affect installation or functionality.

As a first step, I recommend checking the Brother support page for your specific printer or scanner model to see whether an ARM64-compatible driver is available. You can also try installing the device using the built-in Windows printer drivers or the Microsoft IPP Class Driver, which may provide basic printing functionality for supported models.

If you can share the exact Brother printer or scanner model number, the community may be able to suggest more specific guidance or alternative options.

Feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
