Free Outlook, not 365

I tried to send a message on outlook. First I was asked if I wanted to try 365 for free. I clicked no. Everything disappeared and I can't get it back.

The next time I went to my account there was nothing there - no inbox, no sent, no anything - blank - years of contacts and information gone. I was finally able to get the message I could keep free or get 365 personal or group and it showed what each option offered. I am 80 years old.

I am a publisher in a tiny store selling only one book. All my information, contacts and emails are stored on my account back over 8 years. I don't want what 365 offers, I don't even know what most of the words mean and I don't want to learn things I won't use. How to get back what I had. Please help. I have everything from pictures of grand kids to other publishers names and addresses. I don't want to lose them.

How to get my free email account back without 365 soon. I'm planning a party.

I've just discovered an update in the Mac App Store for Outlook [Version 16.113.1 (26091740)]. I've downloaded and installed it. All is good now.

    Previous Post. Now possibly outdated.

No official Microsoft acknowledgment, Service Health, or Incident Report (that I can find). Multiple reports. No fix that I have seen except a rollback to 16.112.4.

    Hi,

May I ask what version of Outlook or office installed on your device?

In the meantime, please try installing Microsoft Outlook for Mac or use the Outlook.com Web version to send emails.

I look forward to your response.

    Stay Safe!
