May I know if you have tested both copilot app and the website to check if the problem is the same?

I understand, I am just making sure to isolate the issue if the problem is the same in the Copilot web version.

okay well i do understand problems that happen from time to time, but as well you need understand that in this world if i pay for something and its not working, then maybe you give me some money back for supplying for what i am paying for?

9/17/2026, 06:59 PM

Customer

so, what are we doing?

9/17/2026, 07:02 PM

Van Van

I understand the inconvenience, and I wish I could help you further, no worries I can assure you that this problem has been already investigated. About your question in possible compensation, unfortunately we do not have the option for that because we are technical advisors that deals with troubleshooting. Because this is a service downtime, we recommend waiting for about 24 hours or checking our service status https://status.cloud.microsoft/

Customer

    Hi Andrew Sutcliffe

I understand why you're frustrated. If Microsoft Support has confirmed this is a service-side issue being investigated, there is unfortunately not much that can be resolved from a public Q&A forum while the outage is ongoing.

For questions about compensation, refunds, or billing credits, forum moderators and community members do not have access to Microsoft's billing systems. You would need to discuss that directly with Microsoft Support. The service status page and any updates from Support remain the authoritative sources for service outage information.

While "wait 24 hours" may not be the answer you were hoping for, it is often the only available guidance when the problem is caused by a temporary service disruption rather than an issue on your device or account.
