Being charged when I have a account

I have a Microsoft 375 account and just purchased a Samsung A11 Tablet. My account states i don't get charge to add a item but when I try to use word on my tablet it asked for a payment..

WHY?

Was your Microsoft 365 subscription purchased directly from Microsoft, or through Apple/Google/Samsung?

When you sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services what Microsoft 365 plan is listed there, and does it show as active?

Any additional info about the issue you can provide will be helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

On the tablet, you have to sign in with the username and password of the Microsoft account that purchased the subscription. That associates the copy of Microsoft 365 on the tablet with the Microsoft account that purchased the subscription.

To sign in, open any Microsoft 365 app and go to File > Account > User information.
