If you haven’t tried it yet, first open Command Prompt as administrator and run:
powercfg /aThis will show which sleep and hibernation states are currently available on the PC.
To help narrow down the issue:
- What happens when you select "Sleep" or "Hibernate"? Does nothing happen, does it shut down, or does the PC wake up immediately?
- Press Win + R, type
winverand let me know the Windows version and OS Build shown. - Do you remember which Windows update this started after? You can check under Settings > Windows Update > Update history.
