When you try to delete an email in Legacy Outlook for Mac, what exactly happens? For example, does nothing happen, does the email come back, or do you get an error message?

Also, are you trying to delete it by clicking the "Delete" button, pressing the Delete key, or right-clicking the message?

Any additional info about the issue you can provide will be helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

email comes back to me I have tried deleting, right click and delete, my trash and deletes have been emptied,

Thanks. Since the email comes back after you delete it, this may be a syncing issue.

If you haven’t tried it yet, first, sign in to your email through its webmail site and delete the same message there. Does it stay deleted, or does it come back there too?

Also, what type of email account is added to Outlook on your Mac, such as Outlook.com/Hotmail, Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, or another provider?
