Request to Add Read Receipt and Delivery Tracking to Outlook for Android

Hello Microsoft Outlook Team,
I am a user of the Microsoft Outlook app on Android, and I would like to request an important feature: the ability to track sent emails and receive read and delivery receipts directly within the Android app.
It would be very useful to have the following options:
Read Receipt: Notify the sender when the recipient opens and reads the email.
Delivery Receipt: Confirm that the email has been successfully delivered to the recipient's mailbox.
The ability to enable or disable these options from Outlook settings.
The ability to request a receipt for individual emails when composing a message.
These features are particularly useful for students, employees, businesses, and anyone who relies on email for important or official communication.
I kindly ask the Microsoft Outlook development team to consider adding these features to Outlook for Android as soon as possible, preferably in one of the upcoming updates.
Adding this functionality would significantly improve the Outlook experience for Android users and bring the mobile application closer to the functionality available on other Outlook platforms.
Please consider this feature request and, if possible, prioritize it for an upcoming release.
Thank you for your continued efforts to improve Microsoft Outlook.

Read and delivery receipt support is documented for Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Microsoft 365, Outlook 2024, and Outlook 2021, where it can be requested per message from Options > Tracking or enabled for all sent messages from File > Options > Mail > Tracking.

For Outlook.com, read receipts cannot be requested directly in Outlook.com, but Outlook.com messages sent using Outlook for Windows can request them.

No context provided shows read receipt or delivery tracking support in Outlook for Android. For Outlook for Android, the documented feature request path in the app is Settings > Help & Feedback > Suggest a Feature.

    Dear عمر أحمد التباوي,

At this time, Outlook for Android does not provide the same level of message tracking and receipt management that is available in some desktop Outlook experiences. Microsoft regularly reviews customer feedback when evaluating new features and enhancements for Outlook Mobile.

Since this is a feature request, the best way to ensure it reaches the Outlook product team is to submit it through the official feedback channel: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback

    Or open Outlook for Android.

    1. Go to Settings > Help & Feedback > Send feedback
    2. Submit your suggestion with the details you've provided here.

The product team is in charge of the site, and they constantly check customer reviews and feedback. The higher votes, the more attention the related team will pay on and a lot of the features are developed and improved based on customer feedback.

As a forum user, I do not have the authority to influence Microsoft’s updates, features, or design decisions as user. I always try my best to provide helpful information and possible workarounds to support you with the issue you’re experiencing.

If possible, you can leave you link feedback in here in order to me and other users who have similar idea as you can upvote it.

Thank you for your understanding. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
