    Hello Sal Battaglia

I’m sorry to hear that your recent Excel work was not saved. Before contacting support, please try the following recovery steps on your Mac:

    • Reopen Excel. If an AutoRecovered version appears, save it immediately under a new file name.
    • In Finder, select Go > Go to Folder, then enter:

    /Users/your-username/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Excel/Data/Library/Application Support/Microsoft

Replace your-username with your macOS account name. Check for a recently modified recovery file and, if found, open it in Excel and use File > Save As.

    • If the workbook was stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, open it from the browser and check Version history for a version containing the missing changes.
    • If the workbook is still open in Excel, do not close it. Try File > Save As, use a different file name, and save it to a local folder such as Documents or Desktop.

If you selected Don’t Save when closing the workbook, its AutoRecover copy may have been removed. Recovery therefore cannot be guaranteed.

    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

I hope an AutoRecovered or previous OneDrive version is still available.
