Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
@Keith Telle I hope you are doing well,
Here is how you can check your stored files and see the client IP addresses accessing your environment, there are some ways to do it this could be helpful for you:
- View Files in Blob Storage
- In the Azure Portal, navigate to Storage accounts > select your storage account.
- Under Data storage, select Containers, click your container name, and browse your files and folders directly.
- See Client IP Addresses Hitting Azure Front Door
Front Door does not log client requests by default. You need to route its access logs to a Log Analytics workspace:
- Open your Azure Front Door resource in the portal.
- Under Monitoring, select Diagnostic settings > Add diagnostic setting.
- Select Front Door Access Log (or
FrontdoorAccessLog) and send it to your Log Analytics workspace. - After saving, go to Logs under Monitoring and run this query to view client IPs, requested paths, and browser agents:
AFDAccessLog
| project TimeGenerated, ClientIp, RequestUri, HttpMethod, HttpStatus, UserAgent
| order by TimeGenerated desc
(If using Front Door Classic, query AzureDiagnostics | where Category == "FrontdoorAccessLog" instead.)
- Direct Storage Access
If users bypass Front Door and download from storage directly, go to your Storage account > Diagnostic settings > select blob, and enable StorageRead to log direct caller IP addresses to Log Analytics.
