Hi Community,

We are currently using the System Center Azure MP (v1.8.0.9). Since this Management Pack hasn't been updated in a while, I'm concerned about the upcoming deprecation of the Azure Monitor Alerts Summary API at the end of October.

Does anyone know if Microsoft plans to release an updated version of the MP before these methods are retired, or if there is an official workaround?

Thanks for any insights!

BR,

    Hi Jan @Pastyřík Jan

As of October 2026, v1.8.0.9 is still the latest officially published Azure Management Pack. I haven't found any Microsoft announcement regarding a new release or an official MP-specific workaround.

Microsoft's documentation lists September 30, 2026 as the deprecation date for the alertsSummary API and recommends Azure Resource Graph (ARG) as its replacement.

However, the key question is whether Azure MP v1.8.0.9 actually uses this deprecated endpoint. I haven't found confirmation of that dependency, so it's unclear whether the retirement directly affects the MP.

I would recommend opening a Microsoft support case to clarify the API dependency, potential impact and future support plans.

    Best regards
    Stoyan
