Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

In addition to what the AI provided, check to see if you have a PlayReady flag in Edge. In Edge's address bar, enter edge://flags and press Enter. Look for the PlayReady flag and disable it. Restart Edge and try again. Also, consider using the Netflix app found at https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrfj3tj instead of using Edge.

If Netflix in Microsoft Edge shows that it cannot be used because internet access is blocked, use these checks and fixes:

    1. Update Microsoft Edge Go to Settings and more > Settings > About Microsoft Edge. Install any available update.
    2. Try the page in another browser If Netflix also fails there, the issue may be with the network or the website rather than Edge.
    3. Restart the network equipment Restart the modem and router, then try Netflix again.
    4. Clear browsing data in Edge Go to Settings and more > History > Open history page > Delete browsing data. Select All time, then clear Browsing history and Cached images and files. If needed, clear all browsing data.
    5. Restart the laptop Restart Windows, then test Netflix again in Edge.
    6. Check third-party security software If antivirus or firewall software such as Norton or McAfee is installed, open it and make sure it is up to date. Security software can interfere with page loading.
    7. Repair Microsoft Edge This is a safe repair path and should not affect browser data or settings.
      • Close Microsoft Edge.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
      • Select Microsoft Edge > Modify.
      • When prompted, select Yes.
      • Make sure the device is connected to the internet, then select Repair.
    8. If the problem started after moving the Netflix tab between displays A known Netflix error in Edge can happen when dragging the playing tab from one display to another, especially if the displays use different video cards.
      • Update Edge to the latest version.
      • After moving the tab, close and reopen that tab on the second display.
      • If On startup is not set to Continue where you left off, copy the Netflix URL, close the tab, reopen a tab, and paste the URL.

If Netflix works in another browser but not in Edge after these steps, repairing Edge is the strongest supported next step.
