Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I have this problem as well. The red bar is extremely annoying. TURN IT OFF!

How do I to turn off the Outlook.com message "Your emails are being forwarded to another email address.".
I have read that there is no way to turn this off as long as I have rules setup to forward emails. I understand the concept for a new user to know if a rule is automatically setup by a third party bot or virus, but for the experienced user this is very annoying and unnessary. I have created every rule and do not need to be reminded. I was an active perticipant in developing Windws 7 and I have been using Insider Beta OS versions for years. I strongly believe a fix needs to be implimented for advanced users to be able to suppress this message. You are Microsoft and this a very small ask. There are many other users that are as frustrated as I am. Thank you for your time.

I assume you are referring to these other Q&A threads on this problem?

We all agree with you. But posting here isn't going to get much (if any) attention from Microsoft Development. As I have suggest in the other thread, submit a Problem Report. Every Report moves this issue one tiny bit higher up on the Microsoft fixit list.

Hi Mark Roark,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
I understand your concern regarding the Outlook.com notification stating "Your emails are being forwarded to another email address." While this can feel unnecessary for users who intentionally configured their own forwarding rules, the notification is currently a built-in security feature intended to help identify potentially unauthorized forwarding that may have been enabled by someone else with access to the account.
At this time, Outlook.com does not provide an option to suppress or disable this notification while forwarding remains enabled. As long as email forwarding is configured through mailbox forwarding settings or Inbox rules, the banner is expected behavior.
It's also important to note that within the Microsoft Community and Q&A forums, we do not have the ability to change product behavior, modify service features, or influence design decisions directly. Our role is limited to providing support, troubleshooting guidance, and helping users understand current product functionality. Requests such as adding an option to hide this banner while retaining forwarding would need to be considered by the Outlook product team as a feature enhancement.
I encourage you to submit feedback through Outlook app's feedback or Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app so the product team can review the suggestion for future consideration.
We appreciate you taking the time to explain your use case and the reasoning behind your request. Feedback from experienced users helps provide additional perspective on how existing features are perceived in real-world scenarios.
