Azure Static Web App custom domain stuck in Deleting

My Azure Static Web App custom domain has been stuck in the Deleting state since August 12, 2026.

The ARM API still returns:

status: Deleting

errorMessage: An unknown error has occurred while adding your custom domain. Please try again later.

I have already attempted to remove the custom domain using Azure Portal, Azure CLI, ARM REST API, and Az PowerShell, but it remains stuck in Deleting.

I also tried deleting the parent Static Web App, but the deletion fails with:

ResourceOperationFailure: The resource operation completed with terminal provisioning state 'Failed'.

There are no resource locks.

This appears to be a stuck backend custom-domain association or provisioning state. Could someone from the Azure Static Web Apps team confirm whether this is a known backend issue and advise how it can be released?

I can provide resource details and correlation IDs privately if required.
