Open the Settings App.

Go to Apps - Installed Apps.

Scroll down to find the Snipping Tool app, select it and choose 'Advanced Options'.

Perform the Repair option and the Reset option.

Then check if the Snipping Tool app is working correctly.

If the Snipping Tool app is still not working correctly, uninstall it, then download the latest version of the app from the Microsoft Store.

I think the tool was updated and know it doesn't work. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and it didn't work.

Not working here aswell... Win + shift+ S stopped working, I can open the app directly by the start menu but when I click the button to capture the screen, it kind of restarts the app.
