Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
I understand how frustrating it is to keep being asked to change your password and still not be able to sign in.
To avoid repeating the same steps with Q&A Assist reply, could you please let us know whether you already tried those suggestions, and if so, what happened?
Also, to narrow this down properly, could you please confirm these:
- Does this happen only on the Outlook.com website, or also on another browser/device?
- When you try to sign in, are you being blocked completely, or does Microsoft allow you to sign in briefly and then immediately ask you to change the password again?
- After you change the password, do you also see any specific error?
In the meantime, you can try to clear cached passwords stored in Windows Credential Manager:
- Close Outlook completely.
- Open the Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials
- Look for any entries related to Outlook, MicrosoftOffice, or your email address.
- Click on each relevant entry to expand it, and then click Remove. Confirm the removal when prompted.
- Restart Outlook and enter your password again when prompted. Be sure to check the box for "Remember my credentials" or "Remember password" to prevent this from happening again.
Looking forward to your reply so I can assist you further. Thank you for your time and understanding.
