INCREASE TENANT OBJECT QUOTA

How do i get my tenant object quota increased? It's currently only at 500 (I think it should be 50,000 minimum). I'm only asking for minimum.

Typically, quota increases aren’t provided for development or test tenants. If your tenant is used for development or testing, please let me know if you can reduce usage by deleting inactive or unused objects. If that’s not possible, kindly provide a justification and specify the minimum increase amount required.

Hi Bryant

Based on my experience, this usually cannot be increased instantly on our end and may require a request to Microsoft Support for review. If your tenant object quota is still showing only 500, it would be best to raise a support ticket and ask them to validate whether your tenant is eligible for an increase to the minimum required limit.

In my case, concerns like this usually needed confirmation from Microsoft, especially when the current quota did not match the expected allocation.

You're right about that But it's almost impossible to submit a ticket. I have a CSP but they are just a reseller. And since i have a CSP entra will not let me submit a ticket Their bots respond here asking for the required details. So ironically this is submitting a ticket. Been like 8 years since i've set up a non-profit account had the same issue back then.

You're right about one thing 8 years ago i just sent in a ticket within hours it was fixed. Times have changed. I've been trying to get a human to help me for over a week now. It's a really simple fix.

I even submitted a ticket for the non-entra side and they actually will call you for those tickets. The guy even remoted in to "help me submit a ticket" and after 30 minutes he gave up because of how difficult they make it to submit tickets.

Thanks for sharing that. I get what you mean, especially with CSP, where submitting a ticket is not always straightforward since most of it goes through the reseller.

Good to know you were still able to raise one and get it fixed within a few hours. That really helps confirm that this kind of quota issue usually needs Microsoft’s intervention, even if the process is more difficult now than before.

The engineering team has raised the quota on your tenant since your organization surpassed the default Microsoft Entra service limit.

You can check and confirm if the directory object quota limit has been increased.
