I have a pay as you go Azure subscription. I am getting the error below when I try to login to the Azure Databricks workspace.

Please note that I have been using this workspace for a few months now and never had this issue. The workspace is created in the UK West region.

I was able to log back in after sometime, but I am getting kicked out within 5 minutes again with this error.

Please note that the issue is not isolated to my subscription. I work with a lot of people and most of them are facing the same issue. You can also see another thread in which many have reported here

it was working fine till yesterday... started seeing this issue from today. i tried to launch workspace from (launch workspace from azure - databricks workspace) and even tried direct link. it works for 5 mins and then it will kick me out.

I am also facing the same issues like this during the time when I was using the Databricks the session got expired and it is really frustrating and disturbing to work on azure Databricks like this and I hope that this will be resolved at the earliest

Thanks for reporting this. We understand that multiple users are currently facing the AADSTS90015 (Requested query string too long) error while logging into Azure Databricks.

Based on the pattern (intermittent login, multiple tenants affected, session getting dropped), this appears to be a service-side authentication issue related to Microsoft Entra ID / Databricks sign-in flow, not a workspace configuration issue.

At the moment, we recommend trying the following temporary workarounds:

Try accessing the workspace using the workspace-specific URL instead of any regional or bookmarked URLs

Clear browser cache/cookies or try Incognito / Private window

Ensure you are signed in with only one active account session

Try a different browser to rule out session token issues

If the issue continues, please capture the Request ID, Correlation ID, and Timestamp from the error page and raise a support request, as this will help the service team investigate the backend authentication behavior.

We are also monitoring similar reports internally. We will share updates once more information is available.

This platform is really bad, I never see these issues in GOOGLE, just here in Microsoft. I am not paying for support so I guess I will have this stupid error forever. I already tried all the recommendations, and I can only stay logged for about 5 min, really bad experience with Microsfoft.

The platform was working fine all last week, so Microsoft changed something and broke the connection. The support is another bad experience for Microsoft

Thanks for getting back. I have tried all the workarounds you have suggested and none of those seem to work. Please note that it's impossible to work with Azure Databricks today as it's timing out within 3-5 mins. I would appreciate if you can update the community with the feedback from the support team.

Hi Everyone,

It appears Databricks seemed to have identified the issue and fixed it at their end.

Hi All,

There is a workaround we can do.

Till now im connecting to workspace from my main account (email which i used for azure registration.) and it is terminating workspace session (this still needs to be addressed).

Instead try this way, create a new user from Entra ID grant admin privileges then go to subscription grant this newly created user with owner privileges.

login to azure portal using new user credentials and connect to your same old databricks workspace.

It is working. its been couple of hours and i didnt see that problem.
