Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 19045.7058 (22H2)

I posted 2 weeks ago Microsoft news app broken

It was "resolved" (started working again) sometime after I restored a backup image. but for all I know, that was a coincidence? I suspect that the following is related.

I logged in to the app, and selected 'Interests", but the News app did not appear in the Notifications and Actions list. Settings > Uninstalling/reinstalling thru the Microsoft Store, resetting, did not help

I searched, investigated, tried all the "solutions", but did not receive any notifications, Until yesterday, when I uninstall the app,and reinstalled with the downloaded installer.

Much later in the day, I did receive one desktop notification, but nothing appeared in the Action Center, even tho these are the settings. I have not received any other notifications since.

MICROSOFT APP 1

MICROSOFT APP 2

However, I do get sparse daily notifications from the MSN news app on my Phone, like today.

Verify that a policy is not enforcing Quiet hours

    MICROSOFT APP 10

    MICROSOFT APP 11

**Intune-managed devices (**the report has no mention of Quiet hours or Battery saver in the report. "Pink" indicates the phrases do not exist

    MICROSOFT APP 9

    MICROSOFT APP 12

NOTE: The command *gpresult /h C:\temp* does not apply to my system. output.html is located in C:\Windows\Temp\output.html

I have done everything suggested here to solve this problem, with no success, including the advice from AI, which was not accurate in some cases.

The Microsoft News app does not appear in the Notifications and Actions settings list.

The Microsoft News app does appear in my "Background Apps" list.
