Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hi Seydi KIZILKAYA,
Thank you for reporting this security concern. I understand it is worrying to see your personal phone number linked to an account you do not recognize, but please be assured that this does not mean your personal data or accounts are compromised.
In almost all of these cases, this occurs because of how mobile carriers recycle phone numbers. If you acquired this phone number recently, it is highly likely that the previous owner registered it to their Microsoft account years ago and simply forgot to remove it when they gave up the number. It is also possible that another user made a simple typo when entering their own phone number.
Because Microsoft accounts are managed by an automated system and for your privacy, support agents cannot manually access a stranger's security settings or remove a phone number from their account. If you receive any unexpected SMS codes in the future, kindly ignore and delete them. The other user will eventually be prompted by the system to update their information when they realize they can no longer receive their codes.
Please let me know if you have any updates regarding this, or if you need any further assistance. If there is anything else I can check for you, please feel free to contact me.
