Surface Go 3 Miracast not connecting with Windele M8 Native Projector.

I have a Surface Go 3. I recently acquired a Windele M8 Native Projector for the bedroom. It is a pretty simple device that only mirrors other devices, and since i am not an Apple sheeple it utilizes Miracast. It connects to other devices and my Samsung Galaxy S23 instantly with no problems. When it comes to the Surface however, not so much. It was a little glitchy at first and would take 2 or 3 attempts to connect. Now however i am getting nothing. It will attempt to connect, then blink like its going to connect and then nothing. I have gone through all of the trouble shooting guides and done everything i can think of to try and resolve this issue. Please advise.

To troubleshoot the connection issues between your Surface Go 3 and the Windele M8 Native Projector using Miracast, you can follow these steps:

    1. Restart Devices: Restart both your Surface Go 3 and the Windele M8 projector. This can help reset the connection.
    2. Check Wi-Fi Settings: Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled on your Surface Go 3. Go to Settings > Network & Internet and confirm that Wi-Fi is turned on. Remember, the Surface Hub doesn't need to be connected to a network, but Wi-Fi must be enabled for Miracast to work.
    3. Update Drivers: Make sure that the device drivers on your Surface Go 3 are up to date. Check the Device Manager for any updates for the Wi-Fi and video adapters.
    4. Firewall Settings: The Windows firewall can block Miracast traffic. Temporarily disable the firewall to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, you may need to add exceptions for Miracast traffic.
    5. Check Group Policy Settings: If your Surface Go 3 is domain-joined, ensure that Group Policy settings are not blocking Miracast. You can check this by running rsop.msc and reviewing the wireless network policies.
    6. Event Logs: Check the Event logs for any Miracast-related errors. This can provide more details on where the connection is failing.
    7. Channel Saturation: If you're experiencing performance issues, it could be due to channel saturation. Make sure both devices are using non-DFS channels to avoid performance degradation.

If you've tried all these steps and are still having issues, consider checking for any specific compatibility issues between the Surface Go 3 and the Windele M8 projector.
