The Phone Link app worked phenomenally when I first received my HP laptop. However just after a few days, the Phone Link app stopped working. More specifically, the app crashes every time I try to launch it. I have tried the repair and terminate options to no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    There is no "Apps > Apps & features" in my windows 11 features. I knew it was a mistake to expect anything but garbage from Microsoft!!!

    Hi,

    Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Phone Link app:

    Right-click the Start Menu and choose Windows PowerShell (Admin)

    Copy and paste the command below and hit Enter:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.YourPhone | remove-appxpackage

    After that, Reinstall the Phone Link app.

    Right-click the Start Menu and choose Windows PowerShell (Admin)

    Copy and paste the command below and hit Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    If the Phone Link app is crashing on your HP laptop, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Reset the App: On Windows, you can reset the Phone Link app by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, finding Phone Link, and selecting the option to reset it.
    2. Repair the App: If you haven't already, you can attempt to repair the app through the same Apps & features menu.
    3. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates can fix bugs that may cause apps to crash.
    4. Reinstall the App: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the Phone Link app.
    5. Check for Conflicting Software: Sometimes other software can interfere with the operation of Phone Link. Make sure there are no conflicting applications running.
    6. Contact Support: If the problem persists, you may want to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.

    These steps should help in resolving the crashing issue with the Phone Link app.
