Several of my Bing Places for Business say Pending Publishing but they appear when searched on Bing. I need to edit the hours but it won’t let me because they still say pending publishing. I’ve waited on for live help for over 2 hours. What else can I do?

Hello. Have you tried forcing a republish from the Bing Places dashboard? In cases like this, the listing is often already indexed, but the publishing process hasn’t fully completed in the background.

Sign in to Bing Places, open the affected location, and make a very small change that doesn’t affect visibility. For example, toggle a service option or add a photo and then remove it. Save the change. This can trigger the publishing pipeline to run again and, in many cases, clears the “Pending Publishing” status within 24 to 72 hours.

    Pending means you cannot edit.

If your Bing Places for Business listings are still showing as "Pending Publishing" after a month, and you are unable to edit them, here are some steps you can consider:

    1. Check the Status: Sometimes, listings may appear in search results even if they are still pending. Verify the status of your listings in your Bing Places account.
    2. Contact Support: Since you've already waited for live help, consider reaching out to Bing Places support through their official channels or forums for assistance.
    3. Re-submit or Edit: If possible, try to re-submit your listings or make minor edits to see if that prompts the system to process them.
    4. Patience: Occasionally, there may be delays in the publishing process due to high volume or other issues.

Unfortunately, there isn't a specific method mentioned in the provided context for expediting the publishing of pending listings. If the issue persists, continuous follow-up with Bing support may be necessary.
