Hello, thanks for reaching out.

To remove your old Teams Free account from your phone, open the app and go to your profile or account list. Tap the old account and choose Sign out. Then go to your phone’s Settings, find Accounts, and delete that Microsoft account from the device.

Once it is removed, the app will stop asking for its password. You cannot delete or merge a Teams Free account from a past employer directly in the app, so signing out and removing it from your device is the way to stop it.

To remove an old Teams Free account from your mobile app, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Microsoft Teams app on your mobile device.
    2. Tap your profile icon (usually located at the top-left corner).
    3. Look for the option to switch accounts or view account settings.
    4. Select the account you want to remove.
    5. If you see an option to sign out or remove the account, select that. If not, you may need to sign out first.
    6. After signing out, you should be able to remove the account from the list of accounts.

If you are prompted for a password and cannot find the settings option, ensure you are logged into the correct account and try accessing the settings again. If issues persist, consider reinstalling the app, which may help reset the account settings.
