Hi All,

I usually log in to Microsoft Learn using my Google account. Earlier today, I was studying without any issues, but when I switched to another device, I encountered a problem.

When I try to log in, I receive the following message: “We couldn't find an account with that username. Try another, or get a new Microsoft account.”

I tried several methods to log in and eventually managed to access the platform, but it seems like a new account was created. When I check my profile, none of my previous records such as certifications or scheduled exams are visible.

This is the only place I could reach out for help. If anyone has suggestions on what I should do or who I can contact to resolve this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!

It sounds like you may have encountered an issue with your Microsoft Learn account, especially if you were able to log in but ended up with a new account that does not have your previous records. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Account Type: Ensure that you are logging in with the same account type (Google account) that you used previously. If you have multiple accounts, it’s possible that you logged in with a different one.
    2. Recover Your Account: If you have forgotten your username or are unsure about the account, you can refer to the Microsoft support pages for help:
      • If you forgot your Microsoft account username, you can find assistance here.
      • If you need to reset your password, you can do so here.
    3. Contact Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue through the above methods, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance. Unfortunately, Microsoft Credentials Support cannot assist with recovery of personal accounts, so it’s best to follow the self-service options available.
    4. Use a Personal Account: If you are using a work or school account, consider adding a personal Microsoft account to your profile to ensure continued access regardless of employment or academic status.

Make sure to keep track of the account you are using to avoid creating duplicate accounts in the future.
