    Hello @AZ Cudzewicz and @Barney,

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum and Happy New Year 2026!

After receiving your feedback, I checked the Service Health dashboard, and currently there is no public incident listed yet.

However, thanks to Barney’s comment, we now know that Microsoft Support has confirmed this is a server-side issue (UK, last night) with no resolution date available. This is very valuable information.

Since there’s no official post in Service Health yet, I highly recommend that both you and Barney report this issue through your Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Additionally, if this is a work account and you still want to get confirmation from higher-level technical support, you can also open a support ticket via Admin Center. Here’s how:

(If you are not the global admin, please kindly ask your IT Admin to do it for you)

Once again, I truly appreciate Barney for sharing this insight. As a forum moderator, I have limited access to backend systems or the internal development team’s operations.

If anyone receives further updates, please reply here so we can keep the community informed. Meanwhile, I’ll continue monitoring Service Health and will post an update as soon as Microsoft publishes an official notice.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Same for me .. I contacted MS support and they confirmed it is a server-side issue last night (UK). No resolution date available at the moment. But don't waste time going round in circles trying to fix excel (I've been there done that wasted hours).

The issue with the StockHistory formula in Excel could be due to several reasons, including changes in data sources, connectivity issues, or updates in Excel itself that might affect how the formula retrieves stock data. Unfortunately, the provided context does not specifically address the StockHistory formula or its potential issues directly.

To troubleshoot, consider the following steps:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable, as the StockHistory function requires access to online data.
    2. Excel Updates: Make sure your Excel is updated to the latest version, as updates might fix bugs or issues related to formulas.
    3. Data Source Changes: Verify if there have been any changes to the data source that the StockHistory formula relies on.
    4. Formula Syntax: Double-check the syntax of the StockHistory formula to ensure it is correctly formatted.
    5. Excel Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance specific to the StockHistory function.

If you need more specific guidance, please provide additional details about any error messages or behaviors you are experiencing with the formula.
