I did my powerpoint presentation in Macbook, but when I open it in Windows all the images included gets pixelated. Although all the images are save in high resolution and compression is off also the logo placed in the file is SVG yet they get pixelated when opened in Windows.

How can I fix this problem to ensure the presentation is not pixelated and as clear as it is on the macbook.

I have already tried ALL THE STEPS MICROSOFT TOLD ME. Everyhting is done right but still pixelated.

I had the same problem and found the cause.

When you paste part of a PDF into PowerPoint for Mac, the file stores two versions: the original PDF (which the Mac shows) and a small backup bitmap of a few hundred pixels wide (which Windows shows, because it can't read the PDF). That backup is what looks pixelated.

The sharp PDF is still inside the file. I made a free, open-source Mac app that turns it into a 300 ppi image Windows can show, and saves a copy as "name_windows.pptx". Your original is not changed. Drag and drop, or let it watch a folder.

Disclosure: I'm the developer. It only fixes content pasted from a PDF, not screenshots that were already low resolution.

There could be a couple of things going on here.

SVG graphics only arrived in Office 2013. For backwards compatibility, placing an SVG also creates a low-res PNG file of the graphic. If the Windows user is still on Office 2007 or 2010, they will see the PNG file instead of the SVG.

If you are placing PDF files on a Mac, that is not a valid picture format in Windows. A Windows user will often see a pixelated version of your graphic.

For better compatibility, use the open source program InkScape to convert vector PDFs and SVG to EMF format. EMF was invented by Microsoft and displays well in all Office programs, even old versions.

For bitmap PDFs, use JPG or PNG format instead of PDF.

Hi! Sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. If you’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps, the best next step would be for you to share one of the affected files here so we can test it and confirm whether the issue is file-specific or environment-related. If the file contains sensitive information, please upload a copy with any confidential data removed.

All the steps you suggested has already been plus. Everything is right but it is still pixelated and now working.
