Dear @ACT,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that your users are unable to sign in via the mobile apps and are seeing the error ‘Something went wrong [5objp]’. The troubleshooting details show Code 1541091857 with the message ‘The operation attempted is invalid.’.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

To understand the situation better and provide you with the most suitable support, could you confirm the following information:

  • Is the issue happening to all users, a specific group, or newly onboarded users only?
  • Is this happening on only Android devices or also iOS? (I could see from your screenshot that it's likely coming from an Android device)
  • Can the users log in to Outlook normally or is it affected too?
  • When did it start? Was it after device migration, password change, app update, or policy change?

Your confirmation would be very helpful in ensuring you receive the most suitable support!

After researching, I could say that this error happens mostly on Android devices especially after device migrations, app updates, or when cached credentials conflict with the authentication flow.

In the meantime, kindly try the following suggestions to check what might have caused the issue:

  • Remove old accounts from device settings (for Android)
    • Go to your device Settings
    • Select Accounts and backup
    • Open Manage accounts
    • Find and delete any outdated Microsoft/Work accounts still stored on the device
  • Clear Teams cache
    • Open Settings on the Android devices
    • Tap Apps (or Apps & notifications depending on your device)
    • Find and select Teams > Tap Storage > Tap Clear cache
    • (Optional but might be helpful) Tap Clear data because this signs users out and resets corrupt tokens
  • Reinstall Teams
  • Change to another device (iOS and Android) and observe the behavior when logging in to Teams to see if the error persists and please let me know what happens afterwards

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.
