How Do I Print from Bing Maps in December 2025

Bing Maps has changed. A few months ago, I could select the route, and the directions would display in a dropdown. Also in the dropdown was a print option that would print all of the directions, and also the map showing that route. Now the print (or maybe there was a "Save as PDF" option) is gone.

I have to print from Bing Maps to submit with my mileage reports to my employer.

How do I save them as a PDF that includes all the directions and the map for the selected route?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out about printing directions and maps from Bing Maps I understand how important this is for submitting mileage reports and I appreciate you sharing the changes you’ve noticed. It can be frustrating when familiar options like “Print” or “Save as PDF” disappear after an update.

The reason this is happening is that Bing Maps recently updated its interface and the previous dropdown print option was removed. While this change can feel inconvenient there are still ways to achieve what you need. One alternative solution is to use your browser’s built-in print feature. After generating your route on Bing Maps press Ctrl + P (or Command + P on Mac) and select Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer. This will allow you to save the entire page, including the map and directions as a PDF. If the layout isn’t ideal you can adjust the print settings to include background graphics or use the “More settings” option for better formatting. Another option is to use a screenshot tool or a browser extension that captures the full page and saves it as a PDF. These methods provide flexibility when the native print feature is unavailable.

I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back

Regards,

Marcelo

Currently, the context does not provide specific information on how to print or save directions from Bing Maps as a PDF, especially in December 2025. However, it is important to note that Bing Maps has undergone changes, and features may have been modified or removed.

To save directions and maps, you may want to explore the following general options:

    1. Screenshot: Take a screenshot of the map and directions displayed on your screen and save it as an image or PDF.
    2. Browser Print Function: Use your browser's print function (usually Ctrl + P or Command + P) to print the page directly, which may include the map and directions.
    3. Third-Party Tools: Consider using third-party applications or browser extensions that can capture web pages as PDFs.

For the most accurate and updated method, please check the official Bing Maps documentation or support resources as they may provide new functionalities or updates regarding printing and saving options.
