Hi all,

I’m experiencing the same issue. I have a personal Microsoft account. Logging into my Microsoft Account works fine, but when I try to sign in to Azure, it requires approval through the Microsoft Authenticator app.

The problem is:

The Authenticator app is not receiving any approval requests.

The numbers displayed in the app are 8 digits, but Azure is asking for 6 digits.

I cannot log in anywhere else to access my settings or change the MFA configuration.

I’m completely stuck and cannot proceed. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you 😊

Hello Razmik Melqonyan,

The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.

To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.

If the resolution was helpful, kindly take a moment to accept the answer and upvote it 👍 it as a token of appreciation.
