My account was hacked 14hours ago by a hacker and he changed the email and password connected to my microsoft account, so I cant even recover my account because whenever I try to sign in or try to do the recovery form it says this account doesn’t exist.

I lost everything i used to play Minecraft using that account but now I lost everything, I lost my microsoft account and Minecraft which i bought for 30$.

Can anyone help me or tell me a way to recover my account or is it over for it?

Dear Rexpe,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I am very sorry to hear that your Microsoft account has been compromised, and that the hacker changed both your password and the primary email address. I understand your deep concern, especially since you have lost access to your Minecraft purchase and vital account history.

When the account's primary email address has been successfully changed by an unauthorized party, your original email address is no longer linked to the Microsoft Account. In such cases of identity theft and compromised credentials, standard automated recovery tools will not work, as the system does not recognize your original address.

The viable path to recover your account is through a direct investigation by the specialized security team. Please follow below steps to reach a live chat agent for further assistance:

  1. Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
  2. In the search bar provided on the page, type "Account Recovery" and press Enter.
  3. Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.
  4. Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.
  5. When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
  6. For the category, choose "Manage Account Security".
  7. Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
  8. When prompted, provide a valid contact email where Microsoft can reach you regarding your case.
  9. Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.

We appreciate your effort and patience in working to resolve this challenging situation.
